The Carbonology Sport Cruze Surf Ski is an entry level surf ski aimed at the beginner but is super fun for downwinding, surf and touring.
This ski is Carbonology’s most popular model, filling a niche similar to the Epic V8, and is the most stable boat in the Carbonology Sport lineup at 22″ wide.
This is a great surf ski for anyone who wants a ski that will cross over into rough ocean conditions. It’s not the fastest they have, it’s the most diverse. That explains it’s popularity.
Carbonology also offers the ski in “Hybrid Carbon/Glass Epoxy Vacuum” composite layup, which balances weight and value.
Optional Storage Hatch
The Carbonology Sport Cruze Surf Ski has an option to add a large storage area in the stern with a rubber watertight hatch. This allows the ski be an great option for long day trips and multi day tours. This model also has a 5″ wide screw-on ‘day hatch’ accessible from the cockpit for small items.
Carbonology surf skis are manufactured in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and are renowned for their maneuverability, light weight and elegant high-tech fittings. They produce a number of models to suit your weight and paddling ability.
If you’re looking for an easy win in that prestigious flat water race, this may not be the best choice. But to those who want to race, train, tour, head out into the open ocean and be prepared for crossover conditions: this is your surf ski
