3 hours – Beginners or refresher

kayak Level 2
3 hrs – Advanced beginner or intermediate
Take your skills to your next level learning efficient turns, more stability, paddling in waves or working on your personal goals. Taught by ACA certified Robert Nissenbaum.
Kayak Freighter Surfing in Seattle
3 hrs – Intermediate +
Learn how to kayak fun waves from freighters in Seattle. Waves break 3 miles from the shipping lanes and arrive as a fun beach break in Ballard. With Robert Nissenbaum.
Kayak Rolling
4 Sessions – Advanced beginner +
Four 2 hour sessions as few learn in 1-2 sessions. Also review rescues as rolls can fail. Learn from my ACA certified coach Robert Nissenbuam. Summer only.
Kayak Rescues
2 hrs – Beginner +
Learn how to do solo and assisted rescues so you can paddle with confidence on your own or with others. Can be customized to your goals.
Just want to give a shout out for a great Basic Kayaking class conducted by Robert two days this week in Ballard.
All gear/wet suits needed were supplied, questions answered patiently and expectations exceeded!
We will go on our Antarctic expedition much more confident and well prepared!

These guys are so awesome! Rob was super helpful squeezing me in last min for lessons during the busy holiday season. Coach Robert was extremely knowledgeable and patient, and tailored the lessons for the specific trip I was preparing for. He took the time to talk through the gear I would most likely be provided with on the trip – and how it would function and differ from what we were using in the lessons.
I really appreciated his attention to detail and thoroughness! He helped me greatly with stroke efficiency and I left our lessons feeling confident about my trip.
