  • *Payment is required to hold your spot in our classes. After paying, fill out the Student Info Form.
  • After paying, fill out the STUDENT INFO FORM – Make sure to fill this out before class so I can bring you the right sized clothing and equipment. I’m a mobile business so bring everything to the beach. Waivers will be signed in person on location (sanitizer available).
  • There are no dressing rooms – You will change into paddling clothes in a parking lot. Upon request, I can supply changing cloaks.
  • The Ballard Elks location has no restrooms. *Please plan ahead.

Required Class Items

  • DRY BAG FOR YOUR MASK. We wear the mask through the beach to the water, then take it off. You’ll want to keep it dry while on-water.
  • EYEGLASSES STRAP: For sunglasses and prescription glasses. Required for prescription glasses. We are not responsible for any lost glasses, keys, etc.
  • PLACE TO HIDE CAR KEYS during class. I prefer to not bring my keys on the water.  Uber/Lyft riders can leave your keys in my car.
  • MEDICAL PRESCRIPTIONS you need on-water such as inhalers and EpiPens. We’ll put in a waterproof bag.
  • WHAT TO WEAR UNDER A WETSUIT: Bathing Suit or shorts. Less clothing means more flexibility and a better fitting suit. No cotton.
  • IF NO WETSUIT: Wear a neoprene top and/or bottom or rash guard if you run warm. Swimsuits are fine for hot summer days in some locations.
  • EXTRAS – Hydration (water bottle), energy bar, sunblock.
  • PHONE – Only bring on-water if you a waterproof case/bag and a tether so you don’t lose it.
