Covid-19 Update – PLEASE READ..

Salmon Bay Paddle is open to individual and small groups. Paddling is a naturally distanced activity. We’ll use masks and distancing on shore. All equipment is always cleaned.


Open all year – Beginners start with Sup Basics 1 then progress to SUP Basics 2 before signing up for Downwinding, SUP Surfing, Deception Pass and freighter surfing.  If unsure of your skill level, contact me to discuss. Rental equipment available.


Contact me first about the class you’re interested in.


Beginning – No or limited experience. Intermediate – You can stand up, paddle straight, turn, paddle over small waves and boat wakes and fall and get back on easily. Advanced – You can SUP surf in 5′ waves or downwind in 30 kts or paddle Class 3 rivers and/or open water touring in coastal conditions.
