A native of Georgia, Alan is usually found up in trees for his business, Fluent Tree Professionals or at his Ballard Ave shop, Ballard Millworks. He’s a frequent participant in the Elks Monday night races and has completed two Seventy48 races (70 miles in 48hrs).
Harry has been paddling full time since the summer of 2015. He is experienced on flat-water, rivers, tidal waterways, and loves industrial waterways. He brought an inflatable SUP to Europe and toured the Danube and Spree rivers in Germany, and the Moldau in Czech Republic. He volunteers for the Washington Water Trails Association and is the Treasurer for the Ballard Elks Paddling Club. Harry finished the first annual Seventy48 (70 mile race) in 2018. In 2019, he donated a kidney to a friend then completed his second Seventy48, as Team Kidney Donor. Harry has recently found a passion for paddling the Skagit area and frequents the Stilliguamish River delta and La Connor area.
Known in the tech industry as one of the founders of Code Fellows, Ivan began paddling in Rob’s Monday night races a few years ago and we saw him go from a beginner to one of the fastest local racers in less than a year. Ivan competed in the Back of Beyond SUP race in Moah, Utah in 2019. Ivan resides part-time in Astoria, Oregon where he explores and SUP surfs local waters.
Alex started paddling when SUP started in the PNW. He has shaped several SUPs and is a regular at many of the local races. In 2018, he completed the Seventy48 race under 30 hours. He also loves to downwind, paddle Deception Pass and surf. He works for Pirosky’s as a bakery manager. On his free time, he likes to paddle to Golden Gardens for ice cream!
